Kew Studios and Rooms

We had a separate bathroom which you could not lock from the outside which meant we couldn't leave any of our items in there and in case other hotel guest used it.

Great location. Very comfortable bed.

Cracked shower tray. No bath mat. Small towels. Only two pillows.

The hosts were fabulous and extremely friendly. I’m disabled, and Geoff, the owner, greeted me instantly as I arrived after a long and hot journey, with a big smile and the keys for the very secure doors, then carried my suitcase upstairs to my apartment, for which I was extremely grateful. I couldn’t believe the value for money considering the location. The room was bright and airy, with two large windows, a large double bed which had fresh linens and a bale of spotlessly clean towels waiting for me. There was a large fridge, fully equipped kitchenette, a bistro table and chairs (so my best friend I’d come to see could hop one street over and sit with me to plan our days!). The bathroom in particular was lovely. A wet room with spotless white porcelain and a walk in rain shower. All along Sandycombe Road are antiques shops, interior shops, artisan cafes and restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, a supermarket, really lovely pubs and the train station. It’s a fantastic location for anyone visiting Kew or Richmond and I didn’t want to leave!! The same lovely help was given to me as I checked out, and I needed a late checkout due to train times being changed, which was no problem. Thank you so much! I’ll be back very soon.

There wasn’t a single thing not to like! I honestly cannot fault the greeting, checking in / out, the location, the value for money and the room. I had a fantastic stay and am coming back shortly!!!

A nice room on the first floor in a separate annex at the back of the property overlooking the train line. A good supply of tea and coffee, kettle, microwave, hotplate, fridge (and dishwasher that we didn't use). Good heating and ventilation, good sized shower room. It was very clean. 8 minute walk from Kew tube station.

The mattress on the double bed was not good! The bedside lamp was not working, the TV was small for the size of the room but the picture was good. Towels were very thin and not very big. There was no hand towel or tea towel
