The old building and the happy cheer of patrons in the bar downstairs.
The breakfast area smelled dank the next morning - typical pub scent when the crowd has gone.

Nice and clean and friendly staff. Good location in relation to Kew Gardens and Richmond. Has a nice mini terrace/balcony to enjoy in the summer.
The room needs some redecorating of the wallpaper which is lifted in several sections. Although is not extremely urgent would make the room absolutely perfect.

great location close to underground train. comfortable and modern. hosts were very welcoming and helpful. flexible pricing for a longer stay. kitchen quite adequate.

A nice room on the first floor in a separate annex at the back of the property overlooking the train line. A good supply of tea and coffee, kettle, microwave, hotplate, fridge (and dishwasher that we didn't use). Good heating and ventilation, good sized shower room. It was very clean. 8 minute walk from Kew tube station.
The mattress on the double bed was not good! The bedside lamp was not working, the TV was small for the size of the room but the picture was good. Towels were very thin and not very big. There was no hand towel or tea towel
