Blissful one bed near the River

Lovely modern apartment in a beautiful residential neighbourhood. Location was superb and we shopped at Mums wholesale by Kew bridge. I parked across the bridge which wasn’t too far to walk.

The host was very easy to contact, and replied promptly to questions. Nice location, all very clean and light. The flat was spaceous, clean, and had all the amenities one could want (oven, microwave, cooking plate, washer/dryer).

For Europeans, an English double bed is on the narrow side. Unless there is airconditioning that we haven't searched for, it might get very warm in the flat, as the sun is full on the windows during the warmest time of day.

Property was great, good location, especially when you have kids as there are parks and things nearby.

Not enough basic things for a longer stay like bin bags and dish soap.

The bath plug didn't work, and Sarah didn't respond when I messaged her about it. The shower head needs decalcifying. There is no water pressure, and water squirts out in all directions Chipped plates Absolute bare minimum in terms of crockery and cutlery Bed and sofabed could do with replacing as they offer no support and are uncomfortable. Flat needs painting as it's grubby, and there are dirt and scuff marks all over the walls The carpet in the bedroom needs replacing or at least a good clean Windows are filthy The freezer was caked with ice, and one of the drawers was missing
