Large new refurbished house with a lovley management.

The property is beautiful and new refurbished, large rooms, clean and the owner is a lovely lady, she also brought us delicious home made cookies in the morning. Fridge is equipped with juice, water, cold thee and she welcomed us with crisps and popcorn. Swimming pool is nice and the property is surrounded by threes and nature.

Amazing place, peaceful and quiet place, the old city is amazing

Thank you Mauro once again for making our stay with you just perfect for our needs (our second time visiting here). You were always so helpful with anything we asked for and also thank you for the breakfast treats, they were always a nice surprice in the morning :) The kids loved it there to, my daugher is already asking when are we going back.

I have no complaints at all, we had a wonderful time, I may perhaps only make one suggestion (not a complaint) but a small microwave oven would be just the icing on the cake to really having everything there. Again just a suggestion.

there was a funny smell in the apartment . maybe the aircon needed a clean. but it was quite awful. when the aircon was off it faded a bit. but it was 35 c outside ! the sheets were quite old. in general in wasn’t the 9.8 that it claimed to be

For those looking for quiet rural accommodation, this is the perfect place for the family. The place is pastoral, quiet, orderly and especially beautiful. The owners are kind and pleasant. The apartment is large, tidy, clean and has everything you need for a stay of several days or weeks. Highly recommend!!!

Relaxing and convenient with a car.

Was lucky that the owner helped with making an appointment for my son because he had a bad allergic reaction to a bug bite. So kind and patient! Also, lovely pool and delicious fresh pastries for breakfast.

Perfect accommodation for a visit to Viterbo, the baths and environs!

Perfect location just outside Viterbo. In the country but 5 mins from downtown. Quiet. New, clean apartments with everything in working order. Luciana quickly responds to any queries. Lovely sweets for breakfast.

Very good property

This is a beautiful option if you need to stay near Viterbo. Close to a Terme dei Papi and Viterbo old City . Apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very friendly owners who spoiled us every morning with cookies and one morning we even got fresh eggs .Upon arrival we got city map with directions for good restaurants, free parking and supermarkets.

it was very rainy and cold outside and room heater temperature was set up for 18 C . Its probably normal for Europe but really uncomfortable for us.

Beautiful house sitting in the garden with olive and lemon trees. Quiet location. Well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms, plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly and very helpful hosts. Some food for breakfast was left for us in the refrigerator and the host brought us a cake in the morning.

Perfect location close to the center but in the quiet place. A lot of space inside and outside. Good equiped kitchen, cosy garden. Very friendly and helpfull host. Welcome juice and snack at our arrival and in everyday morning handmade cookies!!! That's the first class.

A peaceful and enjoyable stay, with an exceptionally kind host.

Our host Matteus was exceptionally attentive and kind, even though we could not easily communicate! He travelled with us to the supermarket when we arrived, and each day he brought us little gifts of food and drink. The property was very peaceful and our apartment had a large outdoor space overlooking an olive grove that was delightful. It felt deep in the country even though it was just a couple,of minutes from the city of Viterbo. One of our party was a wheelchair user. The bathroom was good for him, spacious and well laid-out. I'd just say that many wheelchair users appreciate a bar on the wall beside the toilet, which was not available here. Otherwise, the property is very suitable for wheelchairs.

Beautiful private relaxing oasis

The host Mauro was wonderful...greeted us with refreshments and made reservations for us at a local wonderful restaurant. Unfortunately we were only there for the night but we enjoyed the pool, grounds and the home immensely. We will def be back soon!

A very pleasant and peaceful week. An ideal location to explore the historical town of Viterbo.

The location was perfect for us, about 25 minutes walk to the old town. We were provided with some lovely cakes and things to eat for breakfast. We had a very friendly reception from the lady in charge. The apartment was clean and generally well-equipped. The terrace was pleasant and shady even in the heat of July.

The TV reception was intermittent.

Lovely place

we stayed for 5 nights in this amazing place. It is situated a few footsteps away from Viterbo centro, but it feels like you are already in the countryside . The appartment was quite spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, including coffee and cake, and they surprised us with more sweets, fresh eggs, etc. in the next days ! It was a perfect place to come "home" at the end of a day exploring the Viterbo-region.

Everything was perfect , really amazing and quite place , with cosy rooms , kitchen well equipped, guest is really gentle, she waited us with refreshments , and she offered us an amazing light breakfast. I'm sure I will go there again and for a longer period. I definitely recommend .

Wonderful house and Italian dolci

The house was wonderful. Rooms, swimming-pool and the garden were amazing. We were given a warm and sweet welcome in form of an Italian "dolci". Every day during the week there was another cake or a number of "homemade" eggs. Italy at its best, a real home from home. We have rarely experienced such a heart-warming hospitality...

The kitchen was a little old and it could have more modern equipment, but compared to the excellence of the whole premises, this should only be seen as a minor criticism.

La struttura in se complessivamente è molto bella.

Non ho ricevuto la soluzione che avevo visto e selezionato per 5 adulti ci è stato dato un bilocale con 1 camera da letto,1 bagno ed un divano letto scomodissimo. La connessione wifi inesistente (a detta del gestore per un guasto) ma neanche le linee telefoniche ricevevano segnale all'interno della struttura! ISOLATI. 1 solo rotolo di carta igienica per 5. 4 set di asciugamani per 5.

Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.

Dotazione accessori cucina e biancheria per letto e bagno, davvero molto abbondante (abbiamo trovato anche sale, zucchero, olio…) ed in ottimo stato. Presenza di giochi da tavolo. Climatizzatore in ogni camera. Bagni ampi e pulitissimi. Accoglienza ed assistenza ottime: la gentilezza e la cordialità della signora Luciana sono esemplari. Disponibilità di bibite e snack, oltre a dei biscotti fatti in casa (un vassoio abbondante per ogni giorno). Ampia libertà per l’orario di check-out. Barbecue grande e completo di tutti gli accessori (legna, avviatori di fiamma e set per cottura). Zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Parcheggio riservato.

Per essere valutata come residenza eccezionale, andrebbero sostituite le porte interne, che sono perfettamente funzionanti ma contrastano con l’appartamento completamente ristrutturato in stile moderno e colorato. Sono porte molto attempate e quelle dei bagni non hanno la chiave, che, in un appartamento per 10 persone, sono necessarie. Sempre nei bagni, inoltre, servirebbe qualche piano d’appoggio o dei ganci per poggiare vestiti, saponi, etc. In cucina servirebbe qualche strofinaccio, per asciugare le posate e le stoviglie. La strada di accesso alla struttura è sterrata e molto stretta (passa solo un veicolo per volta) anche se molto breve. Inoltre, per raggiungere la casa ci sono due curve molto strette ed un accesso che richiede attenzione, data la larghezza dell’ingresso.

Breve ma piacevole soggiorno alla Mattonara

Soggiorno breve ma di qualità. L'appartamento ha tutti i comfort e non manca di nulla, il proprietario è stato molto gentile e ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. La struttura ha anche una zona relax con piscina circondata da alberi di ulivo, cosa chiedere di più.

Tranquilla ben posizionata provvista di tutte le comodità molto fresca -non abbiamo mai usato i climatizzatori- e ospitale in modo sobrio ma davvero accogliente. Il tutto in un contesto naturale anche se vicinissimi alla città

Villa Romana con unos anfitriones muy "dulces"

El anfitrión, Mauro, superamable, nos traia dulces para desayunar. La villa romana en el campo muy pintoresca, al lado de Viterbo con supermercados, hospital, farmacia, etc.... y un centro historico medieval precioso.

Faltaba un microondas en la cocina, pero ya me dijo el anfitrión que para los próximos visitantes estrenarian uno ;)

Séjour très agréable et chaleureux à la Caza Mattonara!

Accueil très chaleureux de la part des propriétaires. Nous avons eu plusieurs petites attentions de leur part qui nous ont bien fait plaisir. Ils sont très sympathique et très aidant. L'appartement est très grand et bien équipé, dans un emplacement très tranquille à quelques minutes en voiture du centre de Viterbo. La piscine a été bien appréciée par toute la famille! Parking privé sur place super pratique. Les lits étaient très confortables..

Étant habitués d'enlever nos souliers à l'intérieur, les planchers auraient pu être plus propre.
