This motel offers a personal touch, distinguishing itself from larger chain establishments. Handcrafted wood details contribute to its unique character. The balcony provides a pleasant view of the surrounding woods. The towels and bathroom were very clean. Overall, the experience aligned with our expectations.
The flooring creaks noticeably, and while the bed is adequate, the pillows are uncomfortable. Initially, we did not notice that more pillows were available. The carpet requires a thorough cleaning.

I enjoyed the motel because it had a peaceful,woodsy feel.
The water did not stay hot long enough when showering but everything else was amazing. They let us check in late and the restaurant was family friendly and had many choices.

Room very nice w Refrigerator and coffee machine. only problem was we couldn't figure out AC and were too tired to call anybody

Great staff and location. Excellent for hiking the 46
AC did not work properly and kept shutting off every few hours. Deck furniture was broken and missing arms on chair. MANY flies alive and dead in room every day of stay on windows and on the floor and in bathroom. Flies could be a seasonal issue but the rest needs to be addressed for the price charged. Also, bring your own pillow as there are only two options.
