Perfect escape in the Italian mountains
Stunning location in the mountains. Anyone who loves nature would enjoy staying here. The food is authentic and tasty.
The the drive getting to this location is not for the faint hearted but worth the journey.

Remote, peaceful, amazing views, delicious food and fabulous hosts.
Host was friendly and knowledgeable, home cooked food was delicious. Location stunning, challenging drive to get to but worth the effort. Very peaceful. Room cosy, spacious and inviting.

Exceptional
Le Casette di Leila is at an incredible location literally hanging over lago Como with views left and right across the lake (5' from the house) and working farms, alpine meadows and a deep forest. Daniele and Leila were wonderful hosts and their cooking authentic for the region and delicious. A real gem. The single lane road up is also a real adventure - as the hosts noted 'don't come with a Ferrari or Porsche'

Very unique and beautiful experience!
The daniel and laila were very sweet and helpful and we had an amazing special experience of mountain life. It was the highlight of our trip! Very different from other touristy places and a quiet place between all the fuss
The ride there was very hard. narrow roads and a little rocky at the end… There’s a room with two floors, one with two bunk beds and one with double bed and twin beds. They were all empty but we expected room for two… also no Wi-Fi or reception, but it can be a con too(;

Great family experience
The place has a wonderful atmosphere of hospitality, and friendliness. You feel like being a part of the family or a long awaited friend rather then a guest. After just a night, a few hours of talking in Spanish and laughing over a glass of wine, Laila and her family earned a warm place in our hearts.
It’s not easy to get there. A narrow although paved road winds through misty mountains until it reaches a pass from which It’s a steep but well maintained track down to the hut. It’s NOT a con! And we liked it. We went all the way on our motorbike. This location makes the place unique and unforgettable but bear in mind it will be a little bit of effort to reach this lovely place.

Authentic and warm with a fantastic view.
Not the easiest place to reach of course, but that's the whole point. The hosts were fantastic, I had a great time exchanging with them and also had a very good meal. I would definitely recommend going.
