It was quite spacious and exceptionally clean. Massimo’s communication was great. The location is perfect because it’s outside of the chaotic touristy areas but still walkable to all of the big sights and surrounded by tons of great food. Grocery stores and laundry are just down the street. The apartment stayed cool on very hot days.

Massimo is the best. Excellent location. The perfect spot to stay between feeling like a local and also being near major tourist destinations.

There was a washing machine which was a life saver and Massimo showed us around the area before dropping us off at the apartment.
Fewer stairs would be nicer, but a minor complaint

There's tons of lovely restaurants in the neighborhood. Easy to get everywhere: walking distance to Colosseo, the Forum, subway station. The host was nice and fixed my demands. Neighborhood is safe. I took a walk around in the midnight and didn't feel threatened at all.
