Overall, the accommodation is quite okay, but your experience will largely depend on your personal preferences and expectations. The biggest advantage is definitely the location. We walked everywhere – the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and other sights on that side of the city are about a 10-minute walk away, while places like Trevi Fountain are around 15 minutes away, and the Spanish Steps and the Pantheon about 30 minutes on foot. The apartment itself is practical and spacious, perfect for two people. We had seen several comments about the bathroom, but in our experience it was absolutely fine and pleasant, with a new shower cabin. The surrounding area offers a large number of shops and restaurants, as well as a very lovely square with cafés and restaurants. We would especially like to highlight Al42, located right next to the accommodation, with excellent food, as well as Alle Carrette further down the street, which offers fantastic traditional pizza and outstanding service. The hosts are very responsive – we accidentally locked ourselves out one day, and the issue was resolved within 30 minutes. Both the check-in and check-out processes were extremely easy and smooth.

On the downside, the main issue for us was cleanliness, which did not meet our expectations. The dishes and dining mats did not seem thoroughly cleaned and there were visible stains on the duvet, sofa, armchair, and other surfaces. Additionally, we did not have heating during our stay. We are not sure whether this affected other guests before or after us, but we were told it had broken down at that time. The weather in Rome was not very warm, especially at night, so we had to wear several layers of clothing indoors, which was not something we expected given the price. The hosts provided a small heater, but it was not sufficient for such a large space. We also had to walk around either in shoes or wearing multiple pairs of socks, as the floor was very cold.
