Glenorchy House is a perfect base, as it is situated in the midst of mountains, lakes and rivers. Ideal for those interested in fishing, hunting, jet-boating, water-skiing, tramping or just chilling out.

We have a friendly local who maintains our house to a high standard. You can even have the fire lite in advance of your arrival if you ask.

This was the perfect property or 7 old friends for a week of walking and soaking in Glenorchy gorgeousness. Such a beautiful part of the world. We enjoyed or morning coffee at Mrs Woollys .The house had everything we needed for self catering. We were glad we stocked up on supplies Pack and Save near the airport as food supplies are limited at Glenorchy.There are beautiful views from the house living areas and two of the bedrooms. The host was always responsive.

A quiet location away from the busy part of Glenorchy. We enjoyed having a fire each night, plenty of wood was available. A spaceous home with plenty of room to work and relax. The design with its exposed timber beams adds to the character of the home.

We were there in the middle of winter and the bedding was summer duvets….. members of our group were a bit cold.
