**Charming stay steeped in history**
Settlers Cottage is a delightful Arrowtown gem, beautifully set up to reflect the late 1800s–early 1900s era while offering modern comfort. The period-style décor and thoughtful details give the cottage real character, making it feel like a step back in time—without sacrificing convenience.
The location is excellent: quiet and private, yet only a short walk to Arrowtown’s historic main street, cafes, and scenic walks. The cottage is spotless, warm, and very well equipped, with comfortable beds and a cosy living space perfect for relaxing after a day out.
It’s clear the property is maintained with great care and pride. A wonderful place to stay if you want to experience Arrowtown’s heritage in a comfortable, authentic setting. Highly recommended.

The cottage was gorgeous. Very homely, comfortable beds, lovely shower and bathroom.

The hosts were lovely, warm, welcoming people. We really enjoyed our few days in Arrowtown. Easy 2 minute walk to the main st but in a quiet location. Loved the historic character and sunny spot. We’ll be back.
