Our room was airy and comfortable. We liked the balcony, shared kitchen and dining room. It felt like home. Great host, very helpful and interesting to talk to. So near to walk to everything.

The owners are very sweet and talkative and we chatted about many different topics. They gave me good advice and the view from the room was great. The owners shared delicious fruit including the best mango of my life.
Its up a big hill so can be exhausting to get up without a taxi if you have luggage. The power socket was not so good and the room could get stuffy during the day. The internet was also very spotty so working online was challenging. Although the owners were very accommodating for my work.

Very specious rooms and lounge. Everything is superbly neat and clean including the bathroom, looks like the host keeps the place well maintained. The host is very friendly too.

The hostess friendliness, the location just a few min walk from the center and the national forest, yet quiet. Nature all around, with hornbills, squirrels, monkeys, etc.
We had the whole house to ourselves, including a fully equipped kitchen that was reasonably clean.
The bedroom was spacious enough with a concrete balcony.
Hot water, clean sheets, comfortable bed.
The style is typical Sri Lankan but needs a thorough maintenance and cleaning. The armchairs smelled bad, holes in the mosquito net don't help much against mosquitoes, no closet but a couple of hangers on a rack. Hard chairs to sit on in the lounge.
Generally not made for comfort.
