Suites Melchor Ocampo 445

The location is the best thing about this place. Plaza de la Lectura, Reforma, and Chapultepec are all within walking distance, and the Metro (Line 1) is close by, so it's easy to get around without a car. I took the Metro from the airport and had no trouble finding it. The area felt safe, including walking back at night. The staff made the stay. The security team, the front desk, and the cleaning staff were all friendly every time I saw them. If you're arriving late, don't worry: my flight got in late and I didn't arrive until around 1:00 a.m. I buzzed at the door and was checked in within a few minutes.

The room can feel a little warm and stuffy at times, but there's a fan, and once I turned it on it was comfortable. If you sleep hot, just use it from the start.

Perfect location and great value for money. There is a guard in reception 24 hours a day and the property is very secure.

We had an early flight and they let us leave our luggage there before check in. The workers were very nice and accommodating, and the location was very central to the activities we wanted to do. The room was comfortable and had a little kitchenette if needed. Bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains helped with the light and sounds from the busy highway nearby.

There were some stains and marks on the comforter. We woke up one night to a bug of some sort (maybe a tick or a small cockroach) on the bed, and when trying to get rid of it, it got squished and spurted blood on the sheet. Then is when we realized the other marks on the comforter seemed to be from bug squishes. I wish we knew what it was. Other than that, the TV didn't really work well which was a bit annoying while trying to watch the World Cup.

The location is very centric and close to gorgeous attractions. There are convenience stores right around the corner. The room was quite clean. They have a friendly and helpful staff, and a daily room service (cleaning). The price is reasonable considering the amazing location. Thanks for the good service!

Due to the centric location, there is a lot of traffic noise from the street at all times. And we couldn’t keep the windows* always closed because the room itself lacks ventilation and would quickly become stuffy (as there’s no AC). *Note: I refer to the windows in the bathroom and the kitchenette only. The bedroom windows do not open. The WiFi connection was kinda weak, and there weren’t any electrical outlets near the bed.
