Convenient location and lovely room

Convenient location near to Lands end, the Minnack Theatre, and right next to a pub for soke.hearty food. We went to an evening performance at the Minnack so it was really helpful to be so close by. We got free access to the Lands End attractions as part of the stay and a discount at the local pub. Also free parking at Lands end if you register at the hotel reception. It mentions it in the visitors book but not on the website or listing on booking.com. Check in was easy with a lock box where you are given the code to access it. Means that check in is flexible and is still easy if you are arriving late!

It was a little expensive but this was made up for by getting free access to all the attractions at Lands End. Just go to the Lands End Hotel and they will let you know how to claim this. Although there was a kettle and microwave, there weren't any other cooking facilities which we would have found helpful. Some of the pictures showed a kitchen but I think this was for a different room to the one we stayed in.

Location was very good for lands end and Sennen cove. Convenient being next to the pub and bus stop

Just a couple of small things about cleaning. The terrace needed sweeping/weeding. When cleaning inside the property cleaners need to clear cob webs from corners & ceilings. We stay away in properties quite often and always find that this job never gets done.

Good location near the Minack Theatre with ample parking and a comfy bed.

The Lock box was easy to locate and operate. Comfortable bed. Some cooking equipment and fridge. Outside seating was a bonus.

Key code could have been sent earlier. Rang for code the day before arrival and were told we would have received it that evening however we were travelling then and on the day of arrival and wouldn't necessarily have signal. Washing up liquid and a bowl were provided but there was no tea towel or cloth/washing up brush. Made washing up tricky. Also no bathroom cleaning equipment e.g. a toilet brush.

The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together and we kept falling down the gap.

Nicely furnished and comfortable. Clear instructions. Clean. Neat little mini kitchen with extras provided. Convenient for the Minack.

The one window and outside area was right on the road to the car park next to the pub so no privacy sitting outside.

Excellent choice for a one night stopover but wouldn’t suit a longer stay.

Loved the size of the room and the furnishings. The linen was excellent, especially the bath towels. Very comfortable bed. Excellent parking facilities and good that it was next to the pub so organising an evening meal was easy.

No light above the main bathroom sink so it was impossible for my husband to shave. No tea towel with the washing up bowl. No toilet roll in place. Didn’t realize until it was too late 🙈. The lack of sink in the kitchenette would be a problem if you were staying for more than one night. Wasn’t keen on the location of the outdoor seating area. Remote for the TV didn’t work.

Lovely property with high quality linen but had an overall slight musty smell

Modern, clean with high quality bed linen and towels.

A little road noise plus a slightly musty smell. We’d understood that there would be a welcome pack, which is quite usual these days, but barring some tea/coffee bags and a few biscuits there wasn’t anything else. We were expecting there to help at least a litre of milk but there wasn’t anything fresh so we had to go out again almost as soon as we’d arrived from our long journey.

Very easy to walk to Lands End, just 1 mile away. Room was very comfortable and quiet. Parking on-site.

It smelt a bit damp/ drainsie Was contacted by Lands End Hotel 5 months after we booked it to say we shouldn’t have been allowed to book for just one night. They were very good and allowed us to keep our booking but it would have caused us a big problem if they hadn’t

Really nice bathroom,big and warm with lovely shower and bath. Clean and spacious room. Right next to cosy pub with food and beergarden.Fridge for drinks was good.

You can make breakfast and heat things in the microwave, but no sink,stove or dining area. So self catering is a bit limited. Probably perfect for big group with main cookers upstairs in the stall.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay in Sennen.

We had the "accessible" room of the 3 available. Despite not needing the "access", it was lovely to have some extra space. The room felt very large, yet welcoming after a cold wet day out exploring. It was lovely and warm and we appreciated the hot chocolate and supplies left for us. We also appreciated the discount at the hotel for dinner and drinks.

Given it was the "accessible" room, there were lots of buttons and pull switches and we were unsure which ones to avoid or to use. Maybe some signage might help?

Disappointing

Comfortable bed and warm temperature

Bathroom needs more light, especially above the sink/mirror. Antique furniture and decorations didn’t really fit together. It doesn’t feel like it has been thoughtfully put together at all. The space is too large and empty so it doesn’t feel cozy. We were expecting more from it based on the photos and description. We couldn’t find a hair dryer.

Beautiful, comfortable and great location.

We loved everything about the accommodation. The beds were large and comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well equipped. The basket of cereals, tea, coffee, jams etc was so good. The place was beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the bath after our long day on the Coastal path.

It would have been good to have a bed for the dog.
