    I arrived with my friend in the late afternoon and was given the choice between two rooms - very friendly. The villa is located above Kandy town, quiet and clean air, easily reachable by tuktuk in 10 minutes . Beautiful and artistic atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Simple but good breakfast, dinner was very tasty: braised chicken, red rice and lovely fresh mixed salad platter at a reasonable price. Bathroom was a bit smelly from the shower outlet but that’s quite common in Sri Lanka, so no complaint. Would highly recommend Villa Gangula to friends!
