I think the accommodation offers good value overall. The area is beautifully scenic, with plenty of opportunities for bike riding and exploring the surrounding countryside, especially around Spaarndam. It’s peaceful and secluded, which makes it a great place to unwind, though it does mean you’re a bit further from shops and amenities. It is a quiet park and well maintained. There are also some conveniences added here, you can order breakfast boxes etc., and get pastries and bread on site.

There isn’t a huge variety of food options nearby, and the on‑site café has a small menu and closes fairly early. If you prefer to self‑cater, the nearest supermarkets are about a 15–20 minute drive away. Some of the chalets are comfortable and well‑kept, though a bit dated in places (we stayed in three during our visit). For cooking, bringing an air fryer can be helpful, as the oven is a microwave‑combination unit that was hard to work out how to use. In summer, it’s worth packing a fan because there’s no air conditioning and the chalets can get quite warm. Also note that certain items, such as sheets and towels, come with an additional charge, even though they’re typically included elsewhere. There were also issues with the laundry services during my stay, so for longer stays something to consider.

The size is cozy and it had everything we needed. Like a tiny kitchen and a nice sofa with a tv.

There were important stuff missing in the bathroom, we were worried of ruining the place.

Price was ok

Matterss was so tough plus is no washing machine 😫
