    You have everything you need for the price don’t expect luxury or 5 star service but clean big room and amazing rooftop view with yummy breakfast

    Nordsten Hotel Galata is located at one of the best spots in Karakoy/Beyoglu .. it is accesible to several modes of transportations.. eg Funicular - direct up to Shishane (Istiklal Cadessi, M2), Tram (T1) and a walk away from Eminonu (T1,T5, Spice Bazaar etc) via Galata Bridge. The room was spacious, with a modern bathroom. Basic amenities were provided, including hairdryer. However, I noticed that some hotels in Istanbul do not provide toothbrushes. As the room was large, we were worried that it would be cold. But the room was adequately heated, with several radiators, central air conditioning and “fireplace”. The radiator in the bathroom was godsent, as we could dry towels, and small items during the stay. The staff were accommodating, they provided us we an extra duvet and top-up the nespresso pods. Breakfast was a modest Turkish spread. The borek was extremely delicious. There was no egg station, however the scramble eggs were freshly made and topped-up accordingly. The view from the rooftop was phenomenal.. We enjoyed our stay and the hotel location, that we extended our stay.

    It is very small boutique hotel. They say it is 4 star but i think it should be labelled as boutique hotel. No facilities are available.
