The Sants's balcony

The stairs are very steep and difficult to carry heavy luggage up four flights.

The location is truly great, it is very close to Placa Sants so transportation is easy, and close to most touristic main attractions, but at the same time in a small street in a quite building. In front of the building there is a cafeteria for breakfast with coffee and pastries for very good prices and very friendly staff. You can find several decent restaurants and bars at walking distance, catering for locals and with very little tourists. There are several supermarkets close by, including a couple that open 24 hours. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. It is in 4th floor with no stairs, but this is not an issue for us.

It is a bit pricey for what you get because the place is small. The hot water is not enough for four people, so plan your showers. The toilet seat should be fixed properly, this is not acceptable at this price. Not sure if the TV is from this century.

Great location, good local shops. Easy walk to Barcelona Sants train station.

Be prepared for 8 flights of stairs.
