Big old farmhouse with original features. All rooms high ceilings and dark furniture to handle sardinian hot summers.
Three separate outside tables, to always find sun or shade.
Great refreshing plunge pool to cool off.
Our host Luisa was terrific. Lots of help and info.
We travelled over the whole island from Asfodili. Visited several museums and archeology sites.
Restaurants and beaches in Achittu really nice. Sea at 24C.
The room lighting needs attention (bedside lamps, more light in dining room. etc)
The gas oven is tempramental.
Many flies and mosquitoes around (stables and animals nearby). We were there late season after rain so flies were worse than usual. However there are fly screens on all windows.
Our visit to Caglieri was mired by 40 minutes to find a parking place. We should have planned it better.
Our visit to the big museum in Olbia was spoilt - museum exceptionally closed !!

We loved the privacy and the silence around the property. It really felt like a personal paradise. Use the mosquito repellent 24u. a day and you can enjoy everything this place has to offer. The kitchen has everything you need to make a wonderful meal. There is a lot of choice in tableware and cups. It really felt like home away from home because it's furnished very well. The bed and the pillows were nice and firm.

We had a wonderful time in Casa Asfodeli. The house was clean, everything was prepared for our arrival. The area is very quiet. Thank you Luisa for your help, punctuality and hospitality :)
