Very basic rooms. Nothing bad but nothing great either. There was a desk in the room but no chair so the desk was unusable. The small twin bed was nominally comfortable.
The setting is very pastoral and pretty, with fields and glaciers in the background, but also a bit remote which means it's super quiet. There isn't much around other than fields and sheep. The continental-style breakfast was decent. The hot water in the shower and taps smells like sulfer.

The overall hotel is great. Great place. The food was great, lamb, soup and burger were superb. The I believe colombian man at the restaurant was also very nice, helpful and cheerful. No issues whatsoever except the blonde little bit on the older side receptionist. We wanted to check in and she responded rudely with, you haven't already done it?
This is our first time in iceland, i responded with that I did receive an email but the room required a pass. And i asked her whether the code in the email would help her with our check in and she said that it would not help her and only me.
She then with a sigh asked for our name gave us the key and showed us where we could find the room. But the initial response and unwillingness to help was certain present and felt.
In the morning, she also gave a snarky remark to the companion I was with during breakfast, that she should better drink the room temperature milk instead of the colder milk as it's "the same anyway."
Which was rude as well. Overall great place, just the receptionist was very rude and our of place.
Would recommend the restaurant as it's very good.
