Leider wird über booking als Adresse für die vermieteten Unterkünfte das Büro vor Ort in der Via Ichnusa angegeben. Für uns war aber die Lage vor Ort entscheidend, einerseits wegen der Nähe zum Meer, andererseits weil meine Familie vor Ort ebenfalls Urlaub gemacht hat. Dank der Gastgeber war eine Umbuchung des Hauses möglich.

Booking gibt als Adresse, insbesondere bei der Suche, die Adresse des Büros vor Ort an. Das ist verwirrend.

Posizione e dimensione

The location of the property was spectacular. It is a 1 minute walk away from the beautiful costa rei beach. The property also backs onto the local piazza with lots of restaurants and supermarkets to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The listing is quite misleading. We were under the impression our apartment was what was shown in the pictures but we were given a different apartment. This apartment was considerably smaller than the images in the pictures and lacked all of the basic amenities you would expect from a property that costs €114 a night. For example, there was no indoor bin or oven (despite it being explicitly advertised that we had an oven in the booking), no towels (we had to rent these for €12 per person), no soap or anything to clean our dishes with (sponge, washing up liquid, tea towel to dry them). In the highlights of the apartment booking it says “Free WiFi” however we needed to pay for WiFi. We had a faulty gas alarm that woke us at 4am but when staff came to check it out they stated it often goes off without reason - this would have been good to know before we slept on the beach as we didn’t think the apartment was safe to stay in. The air conditioning unit was leaking water into and outside of the apartment. The staff as friendly as they were are impossible to contact when their office was closed. We only managed to contact them because we had a family friend who knew their number. Do not bother contacting the property via booking.com as they do not respond.
