Starfish Villa

The location of the villa is perfect, right on the beach. The beach itself is also great, with paid and free zones, an aquapark, beach bars, etc. Just a short walk to the main promenade of Nea Iraklitsa where all the restaurants are located. Lidl is just a 3-minute walk away. The villa was big enough for 8 adults and 4 children, but please bear in mind that the room with the bunk bed is very narrow, and it's difficult to move around it. The other rooms are spacious enough. The kitchen had everything we needed, except for a corkscrew. The communication with the host, Giannis, was very easy. He responded quickly and was very kind to us.

The villa is situated very close to the beach, around 200m I would say, there is a LIDL close by on the main road. It has multiple terraces outside, on the ground as well as on the balconies, there is also a barbecue but we didn't use that. Outside there is also a shower at the entrance, to get rid of the sand on your feet when coming back from the beach. There are 3 levels inside, one is half underground with 2 bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen and a small bath with a shower and a toilet. On the main level there is a big living room with a big sofa, a terrace outside, a dining table, a kitchen and a small bathroom with a toilet. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms (one with a single bed, another one with a double bed and the last one with a double bed and a bunk bed - rather crowded), a bathroom with a tub (it has a shower curtain) and a toilet, there is also a washing machine on a small terrace out back, accessible from the bathroom. Two of the bedrooms have doors to a small terrace outside. On each level there is a single A/C unit mounted in the center, but it does work well with all windows closed. The villa shows some signs of wear and tear here and there and could use some new paint inside in places, but otherwise is spacious and clean. It is not a luxury villa, but rather normal, with facilities and materials you would find in a normal house. The owner was very kind and communicative and explained to us everything we needed to know, met us in person to deliver the keys.

Access road is very narrow and without asphalt, there is also a building site right across this road and the noise might be annoying early in the morning. Inside the property, the bedroom beds and pillows are rather hard, also in one of the bedrooms upstairs the bunk bed was taking way too much of the available space.

Location is great, walking distance to supermarket, restaurants and cafés. Beach is just down the road.

Nice accommodation, plenty of space for relaxing and having a good time. Near the beach and Lidl. I had my coffee at the sunrise on the beach. It is a 2 minute walking distance. Tha beach was clean and with nice personal to help us. It is a 10 minutes walk to the taverns area of Iraklitsa so just perfect to relax. It is a quiet place and not crowded. The host was very friendly, answered all my questions and gave me some good information.
