Villa Fontxica

My husband and I love this villa. We have now stayed twice and look forward to returning again next year. It’s so peaceful, has wonderful views (a lot of the villas in the area face away from the mountains with this being an exception based on our experience) and is privately set back from the road and hustle of life! We truly feel at home here. We also love the cats that live in the area (having seen the kittens in 2025 and returning to see them fully grown in 2026). The cleaners are also friendly and discrete, coming in to clean a few times during a two week stay, allowing us plenty of private and quiet time during our stay. 10/10 - having stayed in two other villas next door and opposite, this is our favourite out of the three.

The outside area of this villa really is the star attraction. A lovely seating area… an outdoor barbecue… a larger table under cover… and of course the large pool (which isn’t heated, but was brilliant for us to cool down in when the temperature was 25° +). The fact that property has a house bathroom, an en-suite AND an outside shower room, PLUS a shower next to the pool meant there were no queues to get ready for a night out.

The property is very rustic and traditional, and some of the furniture is a bit dated and not super comfortable, but was fine for our needs. Also, as other reviews have said, we did find ants on the kitchen counter on a couple of occasions, but not too often.

Great location, very clean and fabulous pool.

Hele fijne accommodatie met Spaanse inrichting nabij het strand. Uitstekende locatie voor start meerdere fietsroutes in de omgeving. Meerdere zitjes rondom huis met ruim en goed onderhouden zwembad (niet verwarmd). Vooral de grote overkapping is een heerlijk plekje om te zitten. Tuin en zwembad wordt goed bijgehouden door tuinman.

Afvoer in keuken en badkamer raakte verstopt tijdens verblijf. Verstopping in keuken is netjes opgelost door technische dienst.
