Hotel de Nesle

The room was small, but cozy (though I thought it seemed smaller in person than advertised). And the location was perfect! The surrounding area full of restaurants and stores, plus it is close to NotreDame. The staff was AWESOME!!! When I complained about the shower being cold he came right away to help me, plus he fixed the doorknob, helped us with our luggage and was overall super nice! We were a party of two, I found the shower pressure incredible, but she had a different experience.

The shower was not very accessible as it was a step up from the floor with no bars for support which was a tripping hazard. It was also pretty small, so turning around in it meant bumping into the tap and obviously turning it off, or constantly fighting the shower curtain which would to her body. It may not be much of a problem if you’re someone who has a smaller build or who’s slimmer. Besides that, the toilet was all the way down the corridor outside of our room which was highly inconvenient. Although the bed was really comfortable, there were some weird stains on the bedding. There was a big window in the room, but it still felt a bit stuffy in there. The dust kept making us sneeze all the time we were inside the room, mostly at night as there was no mosquito net we couldn’t keep the window open. And during the day, people on the street could see inside the room if it was open.

Great location, vibrant area, roomy accommodation They stayed up to greet us but immediately after all lights went off Greeting was friendly and courteous

Vintage furnishings suits some. It was ok but a little cobbled together. There was a hair on my undersheet which I saw when re tucking my sheey, which was a bit off putting but that happens. Shower a bit messed up and soap only came out after a hammering

Its central location and the garden was such a bonus.

The staff were so friendly and the decor was eclectic and interesting. The view over the garden was lovely and the bathroom and room were a good size.

location was good

room was so tiny and bathroom was so small
