Very friendly staff (I would say exceptionally so by French standards!). The hotel is right in the city centre, yet very quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean. The rooms are small and really only suitable for sleeping, but the bed was comfortable, and the hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. Very good value for money, especially for such a central location.

Perfect location in the heart of the 6th arrondisement.
Furnishings were dated for the price. You can't walk in (or out -- is this even allowed by the fire code?) without the person at reception pressing a buzzer. Three times at night the receptionist was away from the desk when we wanted to leave (once) or return (twice) forcing us to stand at the door and wait. He was not away for long, but this shouldn't be a common occurance.
