Perfect choice in every way - highly recommend

Staff were all professional and extremely helpful. The room was well designed and clean, we got one with a kitchenette and it came with everything you'd need; bowls, washing up liquid, sponge etc. The decor was lovely, especially in the dining room where you have breakfast. Everything was perfect. The town centre is just 10-15 minutes' walk by foot.

Would skip this one. Not good. Room was like staying in a small room in a friend’s apartment not an hotel.

☹️ Had a bicycle shed.

Disappointed ☹️. No atmosphere during our one night stay. Didn’t feel like an hotel at all. Overall feel of a recently renovated apartment-type B&B. Felt like having a bedroom rented in a shared apartment or a converted house. Small room. AC working during the evening and then appeared to have “switched off or something” overnight? Very stuffy in the morning when we woke up. No fans available when requested. Would have helped a lot in the morning. Our view at the back was of the rest of the building and high timber “walls”. Small seated decking area at back was lovely but no sun cover. Too hot for sitting outside when we arrived in that evening. Electric sockets were positioned almost on the floor under a small metal shelf and far from the bed - my charging connector fell out during the night as it was very loose and unfortunately nothing had recharged 🫩 the following morning. Awful as needed a charged phone for cycling navigation etc.

A non-event all due to the hotel’s misrepresentation regarding parking facilities

The hotel is still advertising onsite parking though on arrival we were told that this facility was withdrawn weeks ago before we booked which stipulated that secure onsite parking was essential and the main reason for booking . I drove around the area assessing the neighbourhood , checked other hotels and thought it too risky to leave my car parked on the street overnight. We didn’t stay at the hotel and set off at 5pm and drove to a Mgarry hotel which was excellent.

Best in Lorient

Best staff in France? A superb Dutch/Kiwi/BR mix who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Superb room w terrace on the upper floor.

If I could make a tiny wish, an omelette option would be great. Or already made hardboiled eggs.

an unexpected treasure

this is a great hotel, intimate, comfortable and elegant.

the breakfast wasn't good, I am so sorry to say it as the hotel was almost perfect. I only say it as perhaps with a little attention, it would truly be perfect. Perhaps we arrived a little late, around 9.20 but not much was left. The coffee machine wasn't working at first, (the great staff member fixed it as soon as notified). anyway, a little care with the breakfast and this is a 10 out of 10.

happy and helpful owner

The owner was really cool. Despite me not speaking any French apart from literally a few words she was patient helpful and funny and communication was fine. she was super helpful pointing out clearly from my vague idea of what I felt like doing great directions of . how to get to places. Hotel was easy walk to the centre and buses close by. The garden space was a bonus and although I didn't stay long enough to eat or drink that area looked very cosy and I think would have been a nice spa e to chill and hang out and have a drink and chat. Overall location and staff and the communal space and garden make it a good place to stay. It was fine to leave luggage after check out to pick up later but because of reception opening times it didn't work for me due to the time of my train so . make sure you bear in mind the times reception is closed especially if your checking out and hope to leave luggage for picking up later you can leave luggage there after check out but you can only pick retrieve it while reception is open. So that might not work out for you if you have lots of luggage and a ongoing journey after checkout.

Walls were a bit thin could hear neighbours in the corridor talking and coming and going .. Wasn't so bad that you could hear sounds from people in other rooms it was . just sounds from people in the corridor. .

L'accueil était parfait très sympa et on sent qu'ils aiment leur métier. La décoration est charmante et j'ai vraiment adoré la moquette de la chambre super épaisse et confortable. Marchez pied nu vous allez adorer !

Sehr gerne wieder! Top Adresse!

Neues, sehr feines Hotel nur wenige Meter vom Zentrum entfernt! Eine reizende, junge Dame am Empfang erklärt im besten Englisch wo's was gutes zum Futtern gibt, dass wir gratis vorm Haus Psrken können und gibt auch sonst sehr praktische Tipps für die Stadt! Sehr netter Frühstücksraum!! Absolut empfehlenswert!
