It was lovely in all ways. Thank you for the tip on the Onsen nearby!
Pro tip: if you stay in the dormitory, recognize that the window opens.

The guesthouse was super cosy, great value for money. Rika at the reception was very welcoming and helpful, gave us great recommendations on what to see around. The house and room were tidy and comfortable - loved the more authentic vibe compared to other more modern guesthouses! Overall, a great overnight stay - I wish we could’ve stayed longer and will definitely return again next time I’m in Kyoto. 10/10!

Clean and comfy, very friendly staff, good location (not right in the tourist hotspot but also not too far away). We really enjoyed our stay here.

Location is good, and the room is relatively spacious
The shared facilities lack consideration. There is only one sink and one shower to be shared . Also it smelled bad with fried food in the mornings
