Very disappointed with the stinky smell of the furniture in the room.

Clean bathroom.

27oC in the room and it smelled (probably the old carpet) jak stinky gym. Couldn’t handle it. Limited toiletries. Reality so much different from the pictures. Very disappointed.

Talked to ghe staff over ghe phone They couldn't speak other than German so we couldn't talk They were rude and they send me an email they couldn't allow to host me after 10pm as I declared to be there by 11pm Never book this place

Good-value, very clean, and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff.

We arrived by train with the intention of taking a river cruise to Amsterdam. This was a very comfortable, clean hotel with a very helpful receptionist. We found it easy to get to the port from here by tram and on foot. Damak Grill was a good-value restaurant for our evening meal

Room had everything I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed and shower were comfortable.

Location in Basel was fine, but location in cal-de-sac less nice, ground floor room lacked some privacy.

Will not come back unfortunately

The Location was really convenient as it's 2-3 minutes driving distance to both borders, France and Switzerland. The Lady at the Reception also gave us some recommendations on where to go for sightseeing.

The room is really small and outdated. The Bed was uncomfortable and unfortunately really dirty. In the Cracks of the bed we found hair and crumbs. In the bathroom there was a lot of hair on the ceiling. We were provided "new" towels once during our stay that had brown stains on it. Parking at the hotel was absolutely horrible they only have 6 parking spots and the rest is public parking so you have to be lucky to get a spot. We were lucky for the most part except for our last night we had to park like 5 minutes away from the hotel because there was no parking space available.

The Location is good. Atmosphere a bit depressing. Worst stinky bathroom.

Very Smelly Toilettes. Paper in toilette. Soap is the worst I had. Shampoo tiny bit good for nothing. Electrical box in bathroom for heating water for shower makes funny noise. Feared it can electrify the shower. )-:. Very old heavy blanket. The Hotel should be more generous and use better quality shower soaps

The room was very big and clean. The service was very polite and friendly :) it was a comfortable stay

The walls were pretty thin and therefore one could hear people in the morning going to the breakfast. It was expensive in my opinion.

A Lovely Stay at Hotel Victoria

Our room was on the ground level, which made it so much easier. It was quiet, peaceful, and short walking distance to neighborhood markets and food places. Breakfast was traditional German/European, and it was plentiful. The host was very welcoming and genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. The room was spotless, an absolute joy to stay in. On the Tram #8, line, and an easy, 15 minutes, maybe, taxi ride from the France side of the airport.

On an almost 90-degree day, as Americans, we would have loved an air-conditioned room. But an oscillating fan was provided, and we opened our windows to keep the air moving as well as possible. There was nothing more to be done, but even that wasn't bad. It was just a day in the life of a European house.

the location is perfect to explore the dreiländereck area, you can walk to france and to switzerland and sleep over at german prices. it's by the rhine, close to an alternative basel district by the river. the german side is a typical borderland, not especially neat but well,.borderlands never are. the house seem to be a family house turned into a small hotel, it's super simple, no luxury, but all working. there is a garden and breakfast included. the lady at the reception/owner was very friendly, rucksack was stored at extended time behind the reception desk.
