This place is only 100 yards from the Coliseum right in the heart of Rome so the price obviously reflects that. There was asmall breakfast cafe next door but a much better cafe/restaurant two doors further - with an air condtioned rooftop dining area (a must in Rome in Summer!!)
Can't really think of any realistic improvements - no point in putting a restaurant in the hotel when there are numerous in the local area... One thing needs improvement but it is not the hotel rather the taxi services - although the taxis are metered the drivers usually want to charge their own set fee (couldn't hazard a guess why?)

I loved staying here!
Wonderful location wonderful people who greeted me every day. Wonderful breakfast and coffee. Everything was wonderful. I felt very comfortable here for my first couple of nights in Italy.
I loved everything about this property. It did not disappoint.

The location of the hotel is excellent really central and a stone throw to the colosseum. The reception staff were ever so friendly and keen to be of help. We were treated to a bottle of Prosecco and some nice amuse gueule. The room was dark and you could not see out of the windows as they were covered by an opaque film as they were street level so not helping with the darkness. We had a family room as we were travelling with our 21 years old daughter. The room was fairly small for 3 people, but not the end of the world. They had problems with the hot water tank, which from reading other reviews, is a regular occurrence so we had trouble getting a good shower. But the worse for me is the state of the bathroom. The mastic around the shower and the toilet are in terrible shape and should be replaced with haste, this is unacceptable in any respectable hotel. Finally, the breakfast, which is served next door, is very basic, not bad, but nothing to write home about. So disappointing overall unfortunately. We would not stay here again.
Location and friendly reception staff. We got clean towels most days.
