Good location. Renovated and spacious room with a bit of lake view.
Building is way too old and looks creepy. Even the room is renovated, the outside look is still not pleasant. Room is a bit smelly. Since the building is on the main street, I could hear everything outside esp at night when people did very loud things on the street. I don't know why a kind of garbage truck came to pick up trash at 3am.

We really enjoyed the location. Elisa the host was exceptional, friendly, very responsive and so helpful with questions and recommendations as it was our first time to Lake Como! She even helped book us a taxi to pick us up at the train station in Varenna with our bags and it was raining! She was so kind! We enjoyed walking to the ferry (about 10 min walk), short walk to Villa Monastero (gorgeous little garden and lake views), and loved having a home away from home with a washer and kitchenette!
