So diappointing- the apartment needs money spending to get it up to anywhere near 4 stars

airy apartment in excellent area

Toilet take 3 times to flush-even struggled with just paper. The curtains in the bedrooms were awful-see through and did'nt cut out light which came through around 4 am We all had to buy sleeping masks. The furniture was very tired. There was chipped paint everywhere. There was what looked like black mould in the bathroom and the paintwork around the shower was especially poor. I have multi photos if required-I will post something to tackle the 5 star chic location on Tripadvisor when I've written it up-cannot believe Booking.Com let this go or even agree.Just spotted the picture showing furniture is out of date as we had an iffy leather/ette chair not the one shown in pictures.

It was nice and big, and also very light with the sunlight pouring through.

I was expecting five star property but really I would only give it three! The front door key was already a difficulty getting in, the key safe was around the corner which was a little bit awkward and then the actual lock for the very front door had a particular knack and we spent five minutes initially trying to get in, then the nervousness of it every time we went out. We requested a second key as we were doing different different things but this was declined. I did not like the stains on the sofa and foot rest- I don’t think that’s appropriate, and the towels smelt a little bit musty.

Very pleasant good value stay in a nice apartment in a good location.

The location in Comely Bank/Stockbridge was great for us. The flat was warm, clean, tidy and attractively presented. We felt the accommodation was very good value for money.

We would have liked more wardrobe space. The flat had cupboards which could be used at a push, but this let the flat down a little. The tap in the kitchen was distinctly wobbly which made us wary when using it. It seems to be held together by a spanner wedged underneath the worktop. The mattress protector on one of the single beds was significantly stained and needs replacing.

Clean, comfortable and excellent value, and location was perfect for our stay

Location is great, and the property is charming, with comfortable beds, nice kitchen and a real "home from home". We would definitely go back
