Great Hotel

A boutique hotel run by a friendly family. My initial expectation was a clean place to stay and a chance to visit the beaches of Thassos during the day. Hotel Elektra definitely exceeded my expectations with its amenities and service. We used the hotel beach on our first day. It was beautiful, and the drinks were high-quality and reasonably priced. Watching the live Greek night from our balcony on the second night was a wonderful experience. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We stayed as a family. My mother lost her phone, and they found it and returned it to her. What can I say? I'll definitely be back.

An enjoyable week of vacation.

We are repeat customers of this property and as before we enjoyed the fine accommodation and location. The property is well maintained with a few minor exceptions, very clean and staff friendliness.

The maintenance deficiencies mentioned to the staff (a burnt lightbulb, defective shower head) were fixed after half a week. Also inconsistent diner food quality.

Restful stay by the beach.

The location is very convenient in a quite part of town close to the Kavala ferries. The private beach area is very comfortable and well kept with food and snacks. We didn’t even use the pool because we were so comfortable by the beach. The staff was kind and attentive. Helen in the front desk was very helpful. And when I needed something taken care of her and the hotel manager did their best to accommodate.

Super cozy beach front place

I booked this place for its location - right on the beach - and it din not disappoint. It's also located in Skala Prinos - a quiet and super cozy town in Thasos, with a few good taverns to eat and drink. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were nice and big. You can opt for quiet rooms on the back of the hotel (mountain view), or for sea view rooms maybe a little bit more noisy from the street. You can also find a lot of parking spaces around if the hotel parking is full. Food from their restaurant was also nice.

The only thing not so cozy about the place was the bathroom from the room, which is kind of small, but you manage.

Very smiling, friendly and responsive staff. Extremely clean hotel. Everything is done with a lot of love for details and striving to create maximum coziness and comfort. Pleasant stay, owners that care about the place.

Nice, clean spacious and tastefully decorated room, with an extra room for our baby which was very convenient. Nice owners (and special greetings to one of the lovely cleaning ladies). Excellent breakfast. Loved the overall chill vibe. Bed was super comfortable. Private parking. The town is small but you have restaurants in the very near proximity. One super sweet cat that greets everyone outside at breakfast (don't feed her, they take care of her).

The private beach in front. One of the reasons booking was having the private beach, unfortunately it wasn't comfortable (too many sticks and stones that are painful to walk on barefoot). However, 5 minutes of driving gets you can find nice beaches.

The location was fantastic near the beach and the room was very clean and spacious! Breakfast was served fresh every day and the staff was very friendly!

The only downside was they the only served lunch between 1-3 pm so a little restrictive

We had an amazing stay and would love to come again!

The hotel is newly renovated and looks just like the pictures! the rooms are very clean and cleaning service is provided every day. The owners and the whole staff were extremely kind and helpful, they put a lot of love in their work. Breakfast was delicious and there was enough variety, all food was fresh and homemade. Diners were also very good, they were even kind enough to cook us something out of the menu with a one-day-notice. The private beach is right in front of the hotel and is very calm, the beach beds are luxurious and the pool is warm. I read that some people complained about the boat shop nearby but for us it wasn’t a problem, it wasn’t loud or dirty. Parking was convenient and bug enough. At check in they give you a book with info about the hotel and their efforts in terms of sustainability, eco-friendly, serving locally produced food and others which was a nice touch.

Don't expect much from this hotel.

The staff was very friendly, even tho we arrived at 6am, they got us the room ready really fast. The location is pretty, the view is really nice, quiet hotel, rooms were as described. The employees keep this place alive.

The breakfast was way below our expectations, the coffe was one of the worst i ve had, but i guess thats just a personal preference. For lunch and dinner they had only 2-3 maincourses everyday, the menu had nothing to do with the reality, we expected a greater variety, since they said they have a chef cooking, and when we chose a meal they said they dont have it, and the "special menu for the day is different", meaning only 10-20% of what was written in the menu on the table was available. This wasnt even the big problem, the food was at most average. The pool wasnt cleaned even once the whole stay, it was filled with dead bugs and the bottom was really dirty, no wonder nobody was swimming in it most of the time. As the room goes, the bathroom door handle was broken, kept falling when opening the door, and there was no safe to deposit our goods and valuable things in the room.

The hotel/room was newer (or renovated), clean, and it is cleaned daily. The staff is friendly. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast.

The bathroom was extremely small, in fact, the sink is right above the toilet. Additionally, right next to the hotel there is a boat junkyard or some kind of a workshop. We paid for a room with a sea view; and yes, we could see the sea from the room but we also had a view of the junkyard.

The staff exceeded our expectations, very well trained and with great attitude. The restaurant served delicious food, especially at dinner. The private beach was very nice and clean with comfortable sun beds.

10 ⭐️+ for this cosy family hotel

A lovely hotel, located in the heart of Skala Prinou, offering a gorgeous view of the North Aegean Sea. Room was spacious ( we had a double bed and a single one), cleaned daily. The hosts are very agreeable, willing to help you anytime. I totally recommend having dinner at their restaurant, it was a truly gastronomic delight.
