The hotel staff were incredibly helpful. I came to Inowrocław for the half marathon (Bieg Piastowski) and needed a slightly earlier breakfast as well as a later check‑out so I could shower and change after the race before traveling back. The team accommodated all my requests without any hesitation. I’m genuinely satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate their support.

Charming and emblematic old-style building, with that nostalgic atmosphere of times past. Wide stairs and large spaces. Nice retro decoration with old family photographs. Rooms are very ample and two doors separate the sleeping space from the corridor, for a quieter experience. (However, the walls are not sound-proof, and so if you have noisy neighbours it can be quite disturbing.) Furniture is functional and more than enough. Mattreses are not the best, but comfortable enough for a good sleep. The cleaning staff I met was very nice and obliging. Doors have REAL keys, no electronic ones, which is something I value. Location is excellent, right downtown, with plenty of shops and restaurants around.

No air conditioning, so in warm weather rooms in upper floors are hot. But if you open the window for cooling down it is quite noisy (except rooms overlooking the courtyard). Too few wall sockets and poorly placed. Besides, they're all taken by the lamps, fridge, kettle... So, to plug in your charger you need to unplug something else. The sprinkler does not easily stay in the mount, so having a shower is not comfortable. Substandard management, kind of unapologetic Soviet style: When booking, I asked for a room overlooking the courtyard. They confirmed my request. But upon arrival I was assigned one overlooking the street. "We have no rooms to the other side, it was my friend's mistake, sorry." I deemed this an insufficient and rather insincere apology. Then in reception I booked one of their spa services, but then, once the masseuse finished with me, she charged me 10% over the price I had been told. "The receptionist made a mistake, sorry." This is not acceptable: guests should not pay for mistakes made by the management.
