Filoxenia Beach

The location is fantastic. The hotel is right by the sea, with a lovely sandy beach and beautiful views. I was travelling with my children, who normally insist on having a swimming pool, while I always prefer the sea, so I was very happy to win that argument this time 😂 They absolutely loved the beach. The staff were excellent — friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Our room was cleaned every day, which made our stay even more comfortable. On a few afternoons, we took a taxi into Zakynthos Town and spent some time around the main square, walking through the little shops, visiting churches, doing some small shopping and, of course, trying the local food 😂. For those who want to explore more, there are plenty of activities and excursions that can be arranged locally. The area is quiet, giving it a very pleasant atmosphere without being noisy or overcrowded. The centre is also within walking distance, which was perfect for an evening stroll when we felt like getting out. I think Filoxenia Beach is a great choice for different types of travellers. It is wonderful for families with children, but I can also imagine couples having a beautiful and romantic stay here, especially with the sea views and peaceful evenings. There are also plenty of opportunities for anyone who wants to explore the island and enjoy different activities. For us, it was the perfect combination of relaxation, sea, beautiful scenery and little adventures. We enjoyed our days, had lovely evenings and made some very happy memories together. The staff at reception and at the bar are the kindest, most helpful people, always happy to help, highly trustworthy and reliable! I am so very grateful for everything and would happily come back again and again!

Too hot, too humid! But to be honest being on the beach has helped. You also had to walk quite a bit for a bakery although the supermarket was just 5 min walk with some local restaurants

The view from the balcony and people there. Service is good. The receptionist helped us to call a Taxi and give information about places. I like the location with the beach front. At night it is very relaxing. The food is good.

They did not clean the floor. First day the room was not cleaned, I had to ask for dishwashing liquid to clean our dishes. We only got one set of toiletries for 5 nights. Other than that everything was great. We enjoyed our stay.
