Our host was very thorough

Caught us by surprise that we needed cash for the deposit

Met the owner to collect keys (lovely man, lives next door - only saw him when collecting keys and when handing them over - he was friendly and welcoming). Property was clean, beds comfortable (twin beds), kitchen fully stocked with all utensils, crockery, and cleaning materials. Washing machine onsite. Property easily accessible by public transport as train (Creux-de-Genthod) and bus stop both within walking distance. Taxis often seen in the village and can be flagged down. Only a few minutes by bus to Versoix for shopping. Only 15 minutes by train into Geneva. Close to the airport. Has a driveway if hiring a car. Lovely garden. Quiet neighbourhood.

The only thing to note is that the property is in the flight path and Geneva is a very busy airport. That said, this didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the day, and the airport closes between 12am and 4am, with the last flight usually landing around 11:15pm and the first taking off around 6am. This didn't wake us up, and we also found after a few days of aircraft landing over the property, they began to take off over us instead, which meant by the time they were over the house, they were at a higher altitude and were less noisy.

Everything was superb. Garden marvellous. The house well done, well decorated, very clean.
