Love the location and value. Have not experienced such a nice hotel in Singapore for quite a while. The room was really small, compact, but has everything you would need for the basics. Lucky thing is I didn't have a large luggage, otherwise there won't be much room to move around in the room for me. The plus point is the friendly staff at the reception. Kudos to Clara for showing me around.

There was really nothing I didn't like at this hotel...

The room was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The location was also perfect, with easy access to public transportation.

We arrived early and politely asked whether early check-in was possible, even though we were aware that the standard check-in time was 3 PM. Unfortunately, the receptionist informed us of the check-in time that makes us feel that she was annoyed/impatient. We went out for a while and returned around 12 PM to check again whether early check-in was available, but she responded with the same attitude and repeated the check-in time in annoyed way. This left us feeling disappointed, as we believe guests should be treated with courtesy and professionalism. We understand that early check-in may not always be possible, and we were not expecting it to be guaranteed. However, a little polite would have made a big difference to our experience. After all, hospitality is not just about providing a clean room and a convenient location, but also about how guests are treated. Let's imagine that you travelled oversea but the receptionist didn't present their service in a helpful manner? Before our trip, I contacted the hotel's customer service through Booking.com to confirm whether I could leave my belongings at the hotel for someone to collect while I was away. They assured me that this arrangement would be possible. However, on the day itself, when I informed the receptionist that I would be leaving the items there, she seemed reluctant and questioned who had given me permission to do so. I had to show her the chat history with Booking.com, including their confirmation, before she finally agreed to the arrangement. Additionally, the soundproofing in the room was poor, as we could clearly hear noises from the room next door, which also slightly affected our overall comfort and experience.
