Hotel Restaurant 3 Châteaux

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel during the heatwave so the aircon was essential and very efficient. The staff are helpful and friendly and everywhere was very clean. Our room was quite large and comfortable and opened directly onto the terrace which was ideal for relaxing after a busy day. The rooms are well soundproofed which means that the mighty storm which raged on our first night was inaudible. We were able to park safely and free of charge on the street directly outside the hotel but this is on a first come/first served basis.

The hotel was closed and unstaffed from Tuesday evening until Thursday morning ie no restaurant or bar available. This info was not given on the Booking.com website and caused us minor inconvenience. There is a note to this effect on the hotel noticeboard but by the time you see that it's too late. This does not affect access to the rooms and terrace. An extra chair in the bedroom would be useful

Traditional Hotel, oozing history and tradition. Fantastic location in the centre of the town, with the castle overlooking it., Friendly staff and a great breakfast. Loved everything about it.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was fantastic!! The best meal of our 2 week roadtrip.

Unfortunately the restaurant was not open the second night we were there!

Did not realise that the hotel restaurant would be closed on Wednesday night and were very disappointed not to have our last meal there.
