    Room was blowing out hot it’s from air con - no windows on a hot day. Was promised a refund but have still not received a refund.

    Hotel is a letdown. Specifically booked a hotel that has AC in the room. Despite the claim, there's simply no AC working for those 4 nights I've stayed. Window cannot be open wide, just a slim opening less than a inch which is simply not sufficient in a hot summer days, despite a standing fan blowing all days & nights, breaking in sweat, not exactly the type of peaceful nights and quality sleeps you looking forward to. Furniture & interior really not match up to its claim of being a 4 stars hotel. To name a few, sofa is stained & broken, bathtub without the drain hole stopper, shower head without a holder, peeling paint from walls and a toilet door that cannot be close. This is not a place you will pay to stay.

    I thought I would risk staying here after reading some of the negative reviews. It was not a risk worth taking. During the heatwave the room had only boiling hot water coming out of the taps. The reception said there was a problem but they could not move me to another room as the whole 2nd floor was affected and the other floors had no spare rooms. I was unable to shower because the water was so hot. I had to checkout after 1 night and management would not refund the second nights stay or respond after 5 emails over 3 weeks. Apart from this, the mattress was old, saggy, uncomfortable. The rooms are very poorly maintained. This hotel should be removed from booking sites and left to fend for itself as it has no regard for its guests. Yes, it's cheap - but pay £10 more and stay in a Travelodge.
