    I paid for a 1-bedroom apartment via Agoda but when I arrived at the property I was told that my booking was for a smaller studio. They were not able to do anything about it even after I showed them my confirmation receipt from Agoda and I was told to sort it out with Agoda directly. Agoda took a couple of days to respond and initially denied there was an error on their part. They subsequently admitted the mistake but I have received no refund for the higher price I paid. This is also my second consecutive bad experience with Agoda. With a previous hotel booking in January, they booked us at a different hotel from what we booked and paid for. AVOID at all cost!
