Room was nice and clean, with fresh towels and bedding throughout the stay

Getting to the apartment was lacking in lighting to guide you from a very dark car park up to the stairs, which again could have been better lit. No one was at the apartment to meet us on arrival, and we only spoke to the cleaner as she lived in the downstairs apartment, so very different from other stays elsewhere. Lack of kitchen utensils.. could have been better

Very strategic location if you want to see Rethymnon, Heraklion and the southern coast. Mostly clean, and the housekeeper was nice. Good fridge, air-conditioning, and water pressure. Very nice parking. Close to markets, stores and bakeries, which was very practical. Nice view from the balcony.

Most uncomfortable beds we've ever slept on. Which unfortunately meant not much sleep for a week. We were lucky and got a softer top mattress upon requesting it, but they only had one. So one of the beds stayed rock hard the entire stay. No window in the bathroom means bad ventilation. It's also very tiny and cramped. Very poor soundproofing, so when other guests talk loudly in or around their bathroom, you can hear every word in your apartment. On the Saturday some of the neighbours were noisy until 1 am. No real privacy on your balcony, people have to pass right by to go anywhere. The beach is very close, but the water has huge rocks and often large waves. This makes it hard to access for those without perfect balance. Free sunbeds are also advertised, but in reality you have to buy something in order to use them. All in all it's an okay place to stay if you just need a base camp and enjoy hard beds. You can find a lot better for the same price elsewhere, however.
