Great hotel in Genk

We stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt like welcome guests thanks to the very friendly receptionist. The room was spotless and comfortable. While the breakfast selection isn’t extensive, the quality is high and the coffee is pretty good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hospitality, definitely worth the visit and stay.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice breakfast of high quality. Room was very clean and cosy. Beautiful area to walk around. Very spacious parking lot.

Good

This is a solid three star hotel with lovely staff and a nice bar area. The interior design is a bit tired and could do with a face-lift to make it more modern, but the beds were comfy and there were lots of plug sockets. I booked two rooms; one was absolutely fine and the other had a problem with heating and hot water, for which the management were very apologetic. But going by the room that was warm (!) I cannot fault it. Although the highlight was definitely meeting an ex-professional footballer behind the bar! Be aware that the hotel is about a 25-30min walk from Genk train station. And the football ground (which is why we were there) is an hour's walk, so worth booking a taxi at reception.

It was a good hotel that provided what was required e.g. a base location.

Quiet, clean and efficient.

Maybe it was the COVID rules but the bar closed early (Belgium Law) but apart from that all fine no problems.

Basic but complete as expected, room layout good, price OK, breakfast from early till late, ample parking on site, easily reached from motorway and choice of restaurants around the corner.

Water-saving feature of shower overdone, not comfortable anymore. At the same time, all used towels and bath rug changed every day! Better turn this around.

Zeer hygiënisch, kleinschalig hotel met sympathieke uitbaters. Het ontbijt was gezien de zeer democratische prijs top: alles was beschikbaar.

Het hotel is een inderdaad beetje gedateerd, en kan best een renovatie gebruiken. Maar ik heb begrepen dat men er mee bezig is. Wij hadden echter een heel gezellige tijd in Genk en werden heel goed ontvangen.
