Excellent value for money, great location and super friendly staff

Great very well equipped apartment, super clean with comfy beds and a great shower! The staff we met were very friendly and super helpful. We only stayed for one night ahead of a visit to a nearby Center Parcs (in February) so we didn't use any of the outside facilities but I imagine it would be lovely in the summer. It's also very close to Genk which is good for shopping/supermarkets etc.

Not well arranged. One of the beds was missing sheets and covers, the trash can hadn’t been emptied, and there were no bathroom or kitchen amenities provided. Even after informing the staff, some of these issues were still not resolved.

Friendly staff, and self contained room is a bonus. Amenities are close enough with easy access to motorway. Woodlands and outdoors must be great in spring/summer time.

But 2 single bed mattress aren't that great on double bed.

One night stay with family in a secluded resort.

It was quiet, the staff were very friendly. The bunk beds were fun. Nice walking paths around it too.

Friendly staff, but noisy rooms

The staff was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the little local breakfast.

Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy. Especially in the evening and at night we didn't and couldn't fall asleep due to the loud noises. The plumbing wasn't working well and with every toilet flush or use of shower we could hear it clearly. We (our baby and us) didn't sleep the whole night and decided to go home the next day. One night was enough.

A lovely peaceful stopover

A lovely peaceful spot to stay, we only stayed for 1 night to visit Zolder circuit which was roughly 10 minutes drive away. A lovely compact apartment, plenty of storage and very well equipped

The gravel paths made it difficult to pull pur small wheelie cases, but we managed! Reception is small and busy and some other nationalities have no manners therefore you need to be defend your spot in the queue!

Appartment style room. Good breakfast, good value for money. Close to the highway.

The place feels a bit sketchy, didn't feel 100% safe all the time (nothing happened though). Was difficult to find the reception and check in (but should have read the instructions more closely).

Lovely area, but not clean

Lovely area surrounded by forrest with playground, swimming pool, bouncy castle. Short walk to lake, soft play and restaurant.

Sadly, our suite was extremely unclean! All the countertops were wiped and bedsheets nice and washed, but state of the floor just shocking. Cobwebs and hair on mattress. I ended up buying own cleaning products and scrubbing the floor up to let my kids play on it.

Excellent family stay

Lovely base for a family. Pool, playground and football pitch. Set in woods and perfect for bike rides.

No supermarket or cafe within walking distance. Mattress could be a little better.

Holiday Suites Limburg Review

Quiet Location, beautiful scenery, available parking, security codes to access the flat without keys.

Bed was super uncomfortable, sheets were also not made. Temperature in the room was always set to 24 and could not be changed, which meant we had to close the door during the night as it was cold in the room. The fact that they charge you for towels is also a nuisance...

A beautiful location, clean & tidy

The location was easy to find and car parking plentiful. It was convenient checking in with a code that had been emailed the day prior and the room clean and tidy upon arrival. The location is beautiful and although we were only staying one night, we would have loved to stay longer and explore the area.

We knew in advance that linen would be supplied and we would have to make our own beds. However, this proved so difficult. We had a family room… the adult / double bed was in a corner surrounded by 3 walls and was actually 2 single mattresses pushed together. In order to make the bed, we had to pull out the first mattress, climb across the other to lay the sheet and tuck it in against 3 walls before replacing the first mattress and covering that also. Because of the 3 walls, the duvet didn’t tuck down the side of the bed so the person on the wall side had hardly any coverage. The children’s beds were 3 bunk beds. (We only needed 2). They were almost as impossible to make. With a ladder at each end and a safety rail in the middle, it was so difficult for any adult to lean in and cover the mattress with a sheet. There was minimal height between the 3 beds so had to get the kids (young teenagers) to climb in and make there own. This would have been so difficult with younger children. All of this is manageable, but definitely a consideration if arriving late at night. The bedlinen was clean and fresh, but the children’s pillows were awful. They were worn and lumpy - looked like they had been stuffed with cotton balls. Luckily, we brought our own pillows so used them. The booking features state there is an oven and a microwave. Our family room only had a microwave that was very small. So the food we had purchased en-route we were unable to cook. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it wasn’t as relaxing as hoped for!

The holiday homes offered the basic things we needed incl Linen. I appreciate that they offered a small box with dishwasher tabs and spunge because this is usually what you forget when going to rent an appartment. The facilities on the ground are great and parking space is close.

The rooms appeared larger in the pictures but they were indeed small and basically the rooms are actually just one with sliding doors that are not very good at keeping noise and light from the other spaces. With small children this was not so easy. Also for an appartment with 5 beds we only had 2 terrace chairs so that could have been better. It was okay for a short stay but i would not stay a whole week.

Two of the bedrooms are the entrance hall. Okay for a party weekend with friends, but not for a longer/serious holiday. It’s sad that there’s no service you could reach to ask for help (we had a lot of troubles finding a taxi).

Lovely location

Very clean an spacious room. The check-in was very fast and easy. Also the location is wonderful, there are a lot of walking paths just when exiting your room.

I really liked the no contact check-in. Since there is nobody on the property however, there's nobody to keep an eye out. Because of this some people didn't have any problem with partying until 2 o'clock.

perfect price quality! very practical for short family trip. the contact-loss check in concept works perfect! the room is compact, clean and comfortable. Kids has apart space for sleeping. location is also good.

we need to go through the kids room to reach our room. but it is not a big issue.
