The check in was easy. The room looked nice and calm. It was in the middle of the city.

There is a lot of sketchy types outside of the hotel and the streets at the hotel. Pusherstreet. Didn’t feel safe. A lot of noise from the street at night. The shower in the was really bad and the cleaning of the room could be better.

There was a misunderstanding with the staff during checkout regarding additional charges, and the man from the reception ran after us down the street, threatened us, and kicked our suitcases with feet On all approaches to the hotel along the narrow streets, there were always men who looked criminal, and in the evening there were many police officers and military personnel near the hotel.

Central location, Clean, Inexpensive

The hotel is in a great location very convenient to visit Genova. For the reviews complaining about the people around the hotel don’t mind them, you are visiting a large port city so yes there are people of different races hanging outside it is not dangerous,The walk from the Main Street to the hotel entrance is 50m And they have 24h staff at the front desk. The hotel is clean, the rooms are clean and have air conditioning and fans. The front desk is kind and helpful. If you are looking for a good budget accommodation this one is great.

I did find the bed in our room (#12) a little small, for one night it wasn’t a big a deal but for two people it was a bit tight compared to other hotel doubles we’ve stayed in.

Absolutely Horrible Experience!! Felt Trapped and Unsafe

It’s a complete scam 😡with beautiful, misleading photos, knowing full well that no one would choose to stay there if they knew the truth. And they refuse refunds on purpose, because they know people will want to leave immediately. We booked this place based on the photos, which looked more or less decent. But the reality was an absolute nightmare. As soon as we started approaching the location, we felt extremely uncomfortable – the area was terrible: people were high, smoking, loud, and we honestly felt scared, especially as two women traveling alone. When we arrived and wanted to cancel the reservation immediately, the receptionist told us that no refund was possible – even though we hadn’t even stayed yet. Then we asked to see the room. It was absolutely horrifying. It looked like a prison cell – tiny, dark, with bars on the windows, which honestly made sense because the neighborhood outside felt extremely unsafe. The room was ridiculously small, nothing like the pictures. The shower was not at all what was advertised. The whole setup felt like a complete scam. This is 100% dishonest and unfair. We felt cheated, unsafe, and trapped. I strongly advise others not to book this place. The area is dangerous, the room is nothing like the listing, and the whole experience was deeply unsettling. Booking should not allow places like this to stay on their platform. It’s a complete scam.

We felt scared, dirty, stressed- as we had to find another hotel to stay in outside of Genoa.

Unfortunately we could not find anything we liked. we had to leave the next morning, instead of staying the full 2 nights we paid for, it was that bad. we almost left the same night but didn't feel safe to walk those streets in the dark.

The location was utterly terrible. We have never felt more unsafe, it is located through small dark back streets, where gangs base themselves. you can hear them from your room. the room was dingy dark small not at all like the pictures shown on the booking site. The room and the building itself inside is unkept, worn, tired, dirty. we don't want another person to be sold false advertisement and turn up here and feel the way we felt.

The hotel is located in a very dangerous criminal area. Near the hotel's entrance and along the entire street were women of the "old profession", and men who frightened with their appearance and behavior to me. The room smelled of cigarettes and there was a white stain on the bed. We immediately evicted from the hotel, losing a lot of money,but saved our lifes from everything that could happened with us on this area in the evening. At nightfall, I think you might not get out of this street alive. It is strange that the hotel has a life-threatening location and continues to function.

very poor stay, the pictures on the website shown better rooms, they should mentioned that the way to the hotel doesn’t

the mattress was confortable

the road to get to the hotel is very narrow and with dodgy people. we absolutely didn’t feel safe to walk in there at night. Prostitutes and their “manager” close by all along the street do not make me feel safe at all !!! the room was in very poor conditions; - in the shower was missing on of the glass and the water went everywhere in the bathroom so we had to be extra careful come out to not fall. - there were 2 sockets not covering the cables. - an existing radiator was removed and the pipes were left protruding from the wall. - the existing extractor fan for the bathroom was blocked with a piece of cardboard and so no fan in the bathroom. the bathroom door did not close and did not open properly. you had to pull and scratch the floor to get in and out. in the room were the bed and and open desk/hanger, a window with no curtains, no painting on the walls. it felt like a very empty and not welcoming room. there were a gaps around the door of the room and the light from the corridor came in the room from the top of the door and the right side. it was very uncomfortable and felt very unsafe like anyone could come in anytime … I only slept a few hours.

I didn't like the doors you can hear everything from outside no sound proof doors!! it's located in geto and all night you can hear screams from out side. AND THERE IS NO PARKING. if you come with car prepeare 50€ only for parking.

Reasonable price and friendly staff, someone’s always available at the reception

Spacious room with a comfortable double bed, the room was cleaned with a fresh supply of towels and toiletries. Free supply of water downstairs which was nice.

No A/C (had a small fan) - but as we stayed in September the temperature wasn’t bad. The Wi-Fi was slightly poor at times and the corridors could do with some renovation. The location is central but it’s very easy to wonder off onto the wrong street and find yourself in a very suspicious neighbourhood in which I would not feel comfortable walking alone. But Genova gave off these vibes in general so it’s not the facility’s fault.

Cleaning could be improved, the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly still hair in the shower. Ants were in the room when we arrived. The room is really small you get what you pay for.
