After a long flight from Sydney, I was glad to relax and take it easy.

Great value for the price and reasonably comfortable. I always received clean bedding and beds / futons were firm, but no issues. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, the station is only a short 3 minute walk away, and Donki is always open.
The tenants (your neighbors) can sometimes be a bit noisy shuffling around with the rather thin walls, but that varies on them. The room was a bit on the dusty side, but I would still consider it reasonable given the price. My biggest complaint was that I wish there were more showers that were open 24/7.

The room had new tatami which smelled great and the location worked for me
There is no sound proofing. I heard everything in the hallway and even outside some cats fighting. Someone’s alarm went off down the hall at 6:30 and it was as if it was outside my thin door
