The towels all need to be replaced. They are ragged and don't speak well for a b&b in condesa. The room was very dim

Condesa Haus is a beautiful place in a great location. The room service is friendly and kind. Upon arrival, the owner was helpful about the neighborhood. The whole check-in was satisfying.
Look at the picture. I don't usually complain about cleanliness, but with a gigantic ant problem and a premium pricing, we expected a much better service.
If you're paying +150EUR for a room in Mexico, the least you expect is to find a room with an ant colony in the bathroom. But in all fairness, this can happen. It is the reaction of the manager, and later the owner which seemed highly inadequate. The manager basically insinuated we might "have caused the ants"? Of course, this is outrageous and ridiculous. When I had to pay for the third night upon check-out, I asked for a commercial gesture, which was laughed at by the manager. When addressing this feedback to the owner through WhatsApp when we left CDMX already, the reaction seemed lukewarm and uninterested. He was going to "talk to the manager", but any commercial gesture, nor apologies were shared. Although the house is beautiful and the location is very central, I would not stay at Condesa Haus ever again.
Also, the breakfast was very basic.
