Decent stay, shabby towels

Decent breakfast, very clean, logistically perfect....lovely owner

The towels all need to be replaced. They are ragged and don't speak well for a b&b in condesa. The room was very dim

Very good

Condesa is a lovely, leafy neighborhood, very walkable with tons of restaurants. This small B&B is very quiet, particularly the rooms on the back side away from the street. Breakfast was basic, but with fresh fruit and made-to-order eggs. As it is quite small, the front desk is not always staffed, so good to be independent, though various hotel contacts are always available and helpful by text messaging.

great location , simple family room facilities -

The location was wonderful - as described , great for walking , restaurants and access to Norte Roma and Condessa . The building was charming , but our family room was not well designed . The room is on ground level with the one window / slider , opening onto a community courtyard , which made it difficult for privacy . There was rarely anyone at the front desk ( which was ok ) and little communication regrading check out , breakfast , and what to do when the earthquake alarm goes off ( we figured it out ) . It was nice meeting people during breakfast hours , but the same breakfast , tamales ( although good ) were served 5 days out of the 6 we were there .

A very pleasant stay except for the noise from the street on Saturday night.

Both Fernando and Josue were very understanding of our late arrival for check-in due to traffic. They also gave us excellent tips about nearby restaurants. For the most part our stay was very comfortable. The lobby showcases beautiful architectural details from a bygone era, and the location was perfect for leisurely walks in the Condesa neighborhood. Breakfast was good. Aside from the daily selection of fruit, juice, and bread, the main course was different each day. One day was molletes, the other day was tamales. Both were delicious, but I usually like eggs for breakfast and this was not an option.

My sister and her friend stayed in rooms overlooking the street (Porfirio and Playa). Both rooms were attractively decorated and comfortable, but unfortunately there was loud music coming from a nearby apartment and the women were not able to sleep all night on Saturday. On the other hand, my husband and I stayed in the Puebla room and we didn't hear a thing. So my suggestion would be to choose a room that does not overlook the street if you're staying at Condesa Haus during a weekend.

Practical to have a kitchen in our room, and a small balcony. Our grown kids had a similar set up right next to ours. We used the roof terrace, enjoyed the breakfast, really appreciated Fernando’s friendliness and warmth, and how responsive he was when there was a slight water pressure problem…. got a plumber immediately. We didn’t stay in the main part, and it turned out to be perfect!

Condesa Haus is a beautiful place in a great location. The room service is friendly and kind. Upon arrival, the owner was helpful about the neighborhood. The whole check-in was satisfying.

Look at the picture. I don't usually complain about cleanliness, but with a gigantic ant problem and a premium pricing, we expected a much better service. If you're paying +150EUR for a room in Mexico, the least you expect is to find a room with an ant colony in the bathroom. But in all fairness, this can happen. It is the reaction of the manager, and later the owner which seemed highly inadequate. The manager basically insinuated we might "have caused the ants"? Of course, this is outrageous and ridiculous. When I had to pay for the third night upon check-out, I asked for a commercial gesture, which was laughed at by the manager. When addressing this feedback to the owner through WhatsApp when we left CDMX already, the reaction seemed lukewarm and uninterested. He was going to "talk to the manager", but any commercial gesture, nor apologies were shared. Although the house is beautiful and the location is very central, I would not stay at Condesa Haus ever again. Also, the breakfast was very basic.

The food was good, really good breakfast, a number of options on the buffet and many choices for what could be cooked for you to order. Room was nice, no mosquitoes.

Nice (overpriced) stay in a wonderful location

Stayed in the room facing the street with a small balcony and free standing tub. Beautiful room with authentic details and had great sleep there. It’s a great base in the middle of Condesa. Nice welcome from the host.

Price / value really didn’t match for me and for what we have received it was way overpriced. The breakfast seemed a bit sad so we decided to take this elsewhere.

Condesa Haus is a fantastic, beautiful, and comfortable spot to stay if you’re visiting Condesa!

This place is adorable and has so much character! It’s an artsy little spot with tons of plants and color and comfortable rooms, and everyone we interacted with was great. It is right in the middle of a very walkable area in Condesa, easy access to parks, bars, restaurants and transit. We had a lovely patio to read on as well!

The staff was not around much, which is great if you like to feel more independent when visiting a new city (Which I do - I really appreciate being trusted to come and go as I please) but it also meant there wasn’t much information provided about our stay or the amenities (i.e. apparently there is a rooftop patio but I didn’t know how to access or if I was even allowed to!). Additionally, the outside of the building is not labeled at all, so figuring out if we were in the right spot was a little tough.

This was my second stay at Condesa Haus, which is perfectly located in the heart of Condesa, and offers simple and well priced rooms in a pretty and characterful building. An easy and relaxed place to stay in the city.

Lovely stay at Condesa Haus in the heart of downtown!

Condesa Haus is centrally located, one can walk to many parks and restaurants in either direction. The staff at Condesa Haus are kind and very accommodating. I had to ask for a space heater because the room can be cold at night and in the morning during the cooler months. Love the breakfast room and the bathroom with the stain glass art. And one more thing, Felix is a gem. Thanks for a great stay.

My two complaints are this: !) for the price of the room, it would be great to receive a large bottle upon arrival and 2) it would be lovely to have a TV that works and instructions on how to use it.
