The host of this small boutique guest house, Georges, should receive a 10 out of 10. Knowledgeable and extremely helpful on everything you'd ever want to know about Bordeaux and environs. Really couldn't ask for more!

The owner, Georges, is extremely helpful, thoughtful and informative. The room was stylish, with good air con, coffee machine etc. The breakfast was extensive, fresh and delicious; there is something decadent and restful having it in the room. It is perhaps 5 mins to the nearest tram stop and 10 mins walk to the start of the main shopping street. The centre is walkable in 15-20 mins. There is a supermarket round the corner and Place de la Victoire, with loads of bars/cafes less than 10 mins.
Some people may prefer to be closer to the centre but the tram is only 1,90 a trip and it is not too far on foot, even in the heat.
