Situated at an excellent location, 3 minute walk from the main station. You can get the train from the Airport, travel without any transit changes straight to St Jean station and then walk to the location. Very convenient. There is also a taxi stand which we never used but it is available. Restaurants close by. There is a small grocery and a bakery 2-3 minute walk away. The breakfast was good and the coffee great. The croissant served at breakfast was to die for. There room was well air-conditioned, which was a great comfort during the heat-wave.
We stayed during the heat wave. Bordeaux would be much nicer in the Spring and Autumn. The town is cold weather focused rather than heat-waves. But this is true in much of Europe.

Excellent location close to the train station, very comfortable and spacious room with lovely shower, very kind and sociable owners willing to help you plan your daily activities. Breakfast was also very good.
