Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auch der Wunsch nach zwei Einzelbetten wurde erfüllt. Das Zimmer war einfach aber funktionell gehalten. Wir haben im hauseigenen Restaurant gut zu Abend gegessen und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

Die Lage direkt an der Schnellstraße ist sicher nicht jedermanns Sache für uns hat es gut gepasst da wir eh auf der Durchreise waren. Unser Zimmer lag im Erdgeschoss hatte sich trotzdem schon sehr aufgeheizt da die Fenster voll in der Sonne liegen und es keine außenverschattung gab... ich denke die Zimmer im Dachgeschoss sind bei hohen Temperaturen kaum nutzbar. Es fehlte uns an nutzbaren Steckdosen, die die da waren waren alle belegt..

I've stayed here many times as there is little to no other options in the area. This review is based on my most recent stay (April 2026). The room was a good size although watch your head on the sloping roof. Parking was great. And there is now a popeys chicken fast food place across the road to go with the petrol station. Otherwise there is little else.

It is next to a main motorway so expect some noise. Breakfast was limited and in my opinion not worth the cost. Cleaning of the rooms and communal areas starts very early (before 6am) so expect some noise from early on. Not a problem for me but do expect it. No accessible sockets/power outlet so couldn't charge phones. One of the reception staff was very helpful. I have to say all the other staff either did the bare minimum or were straight up rude. We were literally made to feel like an inconvenience, the service in the restaurant/bar was quite shocking how rude the staff were (we weren't the only ones to experience and comment on this). The restaurant/bar shuts dead on 10pm apart from the days when they decide to close early (there is no advance notice). In reality the service stops way before that time. Stayed for 3 days and asked for an extra pillow in the morning on each day. Was told OK no problem but didn't get it. The "shower" leaked, which we tidied up each time and informed the hotel. They are aware of the leak. someone went in to the room and removed all the soaked towels/bathmat etc but didn't replace them. We stopped asking for replacements and got on with our stay.
