    Although we booked a very small room and as a result had iffy wi-fi, we were very pleased with the attentiveness of the staff and the location. Because the building is historic and they were unable to install a street level elevator , there is a flight of steps you need to climb with your luggage in order to reach the reception desk and a few more steps to reach the elevator. Luckily staff is willing to help with your luggage. We did not purchase the reasonably priced breakfast. The location is a minute walk from Las Ramblas and another minute or two from La Boqueria market where we were able to purchase food including prepared meals and snacks like fruit. The staff was a extremely kind and helpful and we very felt quickly felt more like family than guests.

    Location was great, in the gothic quarter and so close to las ramblas (boqueria part). No elevator to reception area on second floor due to the building's age and historic preservation laws so it can be difficult. Room clean and simple, with a TV, Internet, toiletries. No room refrigerator. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay here
