A charming, cosy cottage full of character and countryside peace,the perfect relaxing escape.

A Cosy and Peaceful Cottage Getaway I had such a lovely stay at this charming countryside cottage. From the moment I arrived, it felt like a home away from home. The décor is full of character, with sweet vintage touches and thoughtful details throughout ,everything from the gingham curtains to the adorable wall art made the space feel special and full of warmth. The kitchen was well-equipped, the dining area had a wholesome, nostalgic vibe, and the living room was perfect for relaxing after a day out. The bedroom was peaceful and comfortable with plenty of natural light, and everything was spotlessly clean and well cared for. One of my favourite things was the view outside ,looking out onto green fields with cows grazing just beyond the garden added such a tranquil, rural touch to the experience. It was incredibly peaceful and grounding. This cottage clearly has been looked after with love and care. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to slow down, soak in the calm, and enjoy a true countryside retreat. Helen who is the owners Mother lives next door and showed us around and was available if we ever needed help. Would absolutely recommend!

Nothing I didn’t like just to note the wifi signal didn’t reach the bedroom but worked very well elsewhere in the cottage.

Lovely clean traditional cottage. Well equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and a good shower. Great location for heading north to the Giants Causeway and northern coast and also for getting into Belfast. Hosts were lovely and very helpful.

Awesome stay, gorgeous cottage, and a proper Irish welcome, what's not to like?

From the welcome we received, which was awesome, right down to the morning we left, the family, who live next door, were amazing. Never intrusive, but there to help if you call upon them. The owners Mum had left a 6 pack of crisps and two chocolate bars for our grandkids who were travelling with us, and all the bits you need for a first night, to make you comfortable after your journey. Superbly well equipped, and very homely, it's a lovely cottage, and you couldn't ask for nicer hosts. 'Mum' was poorly when we left, but we wish her a speedy recovery, and hope to see her next time we visit.

Superb

Lovely clean cottage, very cosy. The downside for us was that it’s a little out of the way. We haven’t been to Ballymena before so we didn’t know about locations etc. We were attending a wedding. The town centre is roughly 5 miles away so as we didn’t hire a car, we used a lot of taxis which worked out quite expensive. The nearest shop was another taxi ride away, however, we enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is a useful base for visiting family and tourist spots in the area.

Friendly welcome, facilities as described, reasonably priced and very clean. The location was quite convenient with easy access to key routes to Ballymena and the coast whilst being tucked away in the countryside.
