Authentic cozy flat with a view that’s worth the 4-flights climb

We looooved the terrace with the view. It was great to start or end the day outdoors. It was also great to have the opportunity to do the laundry without buying detergent. The shower and kitchen worked well. We had all we needed. We also liked how quiet the aircon was.

Eventhough we knew beforehand, that the flat is on the 4th floor, it was still hard to get our luggage through the small staircase. It did smell a little moldy. From our impression of Grasse, this seems typical for the old town and we would choose it again. We asked to check in early and the host said it was ok. However, unfortunately the flat was not cleaned when we arrived. Not a big deal but it was a bit uncomfortable to deal with this hiccup right at the beginning of our vacation. Our host took care of it very quickly and we were grateful for his immediate help.

Location

No family friendly. Very narrow staircase makes it hard to even bring a luggage upstairs. Imagine stroller, luggage and baby. The staircase was very dirty and smelled sigarette.

Good

The flat is tiny and really cute, well equipped and spaces are organised to the best. Everything is clean and really nice.

The flat is located on the last floor of a very old tall building, based in the oldest part of Grasse. It is not convenient to get there with kids, as for the many narrow stairs and the distance from the nearest car park. Therefore, I would reccommend it to groups of adults looking for a traditional location, but not at all to families, as is extremely difficult to get there with children, impossible of you have a push chair.

Liked it all, but the guest does need more information before arrival & in the apartment to avoid numerous calls to the host (who by the way answered immediately & was very helpful), to be able to commence stay independently.

Exceptional

The location was perfect. We drove and the parking was nearby. Even though it was on the top floor which exercised our thigh muscles, it was cool and had a beautiful balcony to eat dinner on. Fabulous town... feel very fortunate that we found this gem.

Be ready to walk and scale ancient stairs with no handrail!

By the time we found the lockbox, we were tired and had a difficult time getting the box to open. Never did figure out what the box upstairs by the apartment door was for.

The stairs to the apartment were treacherous. The directions of how to locate the property were not very good. New pictures of the surrounding buildings would be helpful. Simple directions for how to start the washing machine should also be supplied. The whole additional deposit procedure was much too complicated and I was never sure if my credit card had been charged and/or cleared and refunded. I had taken cash to pay the deposit, as that's what the Booking.com entry had said....very confusing and frustrating. Extra towels and toilet paper would have helped.

Well worth the climb!

I absolutely loved the location of the property! The apartment was extremely clean and had everything to make yourself feel at home, while not being too cluttered. It had a full bathroom, plus separate toilet, kitchen with a dishwasher included and a washing machine so you can get some laundry done. I actually enjoyed being out on the balcony a lot of time and spending time cooking in the kitchen. The price was fantastic given the space and location of this property as well. Kévin also had excellent communication with me. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Grasse.

It took me a while to find the apartment due to the tiny number above the front door on the street (also it was different to the regular blue number signage), but also phone reception isn't great in the city centre, making Google Maps almost useless. Also being a tiny person, carrying a 20kg suitcase, plus a 10kg one and a backpack up all of those stairs alone was a mammoth task. These things however are not the fault of Kévin and my stay still far surpasses these issues!

I enjoyed living like a local in the center of lovely Grasse.

Located in the center of town, staying here offers the feeling of being a local. The apartment is newly renovated and very cute! Everything needed is provided here. A bottle of water in the refrigerator was a nice touch upon arrival on a hot August day. Host is exceptionally helpful and available for any questions! Very close to the tourist information center and bus station–for exploring the area without a car.

Perfekt.

Super Lage, man konnte gut alles nötige besorgen, z.B. Baguette zum Frühstück. Es war eine ruhig und gemütliche, saubere Unterkunft, mit einem wunderbaren Balkon und Blick über die Stadt. Schöne Wohnung auch mit einem schönem Badezimmer. Anreise war leicht, da alles vom Vermieter sehr gut beschrieben war. Wir waren zu viert als Familie da, und es war perfekt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort wohnen wollen.

Alles war super. Es fehlte nur ein Abtrockentuch fürs Geschirr.

das Appartment ist sehr schön gelegen. Leider war die Sauberkeit nicht so gut. dreckiges Geschirr in Geschirrspühler und im Schrank. allgemein wenig Geschirr. Schöner Balkon, aber ungepflegt. aber für Preis-Leistung okay, haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Wir können die Wohnung niemandem empfehlen, und mussten uns eine andere suchen

Die FEWO liegt zwar in der Altstadt, aber in einer sehr heruntergekommenen Straße. Sie ist längst nicht so schön wie auf den Fotos, es ist praktisch ein mit Ölfarbe bunt angemalter Dachbodenraum. Der Blick über die Dächer ist enttäuschend, wie auch der Balkon selbst - heruntergekommen, schmutzig, stark renovierungsbedürftig.

Katastrophal ist der gesamte Eingangs- und Treppenbereich. Ewig nicht geputzt und instand gehalten. Die Wohnungseinrichtung ist billig, nicht richtig sauber, Bretterregale, dünne lappige Synthetikbettwäsche. Die schöne bunte Balkontischdecke eixtiert nur auf den Werbefotos, stattdessen eine uralte verblichene Plastik-Decke auf dem Tisch. Wir hatten für eine Woche nur je ein altes Duschtuch und zusammen ein ! kleines Handtuch.

Современный ремонт, красивый дизайн, удобная кухня со всем необходимым. Удобная кровать, чистая ванная комната. Телевизор со smart tv порадовал детей. Квартира хорошо проветривается, имеется кондиционер. С балкона открывается прекрасный вид на собор. Хозяин отзывчив и быстро реагирует на письма. На полке много полезной информации для гостей. В целом мы остались довольны.

Нужно учесть, что с парковками в Грассе очень сложно. Мы нашли ближайшее место в 200 метрах от апартаментов. После изнурительного подъема по горке, приходится тащить вещи по узкой бесконечной лестнице к апартаментам, по ходу открывая 3 замка. Хозяин забыл, что мы бронировали проживание с детьми и не сразу предоставил постельное белье, но эту проблему мы быстро решили путем переписки. Также на полке при при входе была оставлена одежда предыдущих жильцов, которую мы выкинули.

Nơi ở này thực sự ngay trung tâm của khu phố cổ của Grasse, cực kỳ thuận tiện. Căn hộ nhỏ nhưng khá thoải mái cho 4 người, rất sạch sẽ và đủ tiện nghi. Chủ nhà rất dễ thương và thông tin tận tình. Một địa điểm lý tưởng để thăm Grasse.

Khu vực lấy chìa khoá không có sóng nên hơi khó khăn để nhận hướng dẫn. Không có thang máy nên phải leo cao tí.

Tre giorni di vero relax

Appartamento adatto ad una coppia ma anche ad una famiglia, accogliente, pulito e confortevole. Dotato di tutti i confort, una terrazza molto carina con vista sulla città. Kevin è impareggiabile ed estremamente gentile, ha inviato tutte le informazioni necessarie permettendoci di muoverci e soggiornare facilmente.

Non è una critica perché è solo una nota. Chi ha difficoltà con gli scalini ci pensi un momento. Per me comunque è molto caratteristico.

Attention à l'annonce qui nous vend en grande ligne "vue mer", il n'y a absolument pas de vue mer. Pour accéder à l'appartement, il vous faudra gravir 67 marches d'escalier très étroits, ce qui n'était pas précisé, or ma mère qui logeait avec nous est en situation d'handicap et n'a pas pu sortir et revenir à sa guise à cause de ça, ce logement n'est donc pas approprié aux personnes handicapées. A notre arrivée le logement était sale, poussières, miette sur la table basse, poil par terre, draps housse tâchés et couvre lit du clic clac très sale également, nous payons quand même 25e de ménage pour ce logement.
