Stayed a Lakeland for 2 nights while racing at the Motorsport park, was perfect, well priced, location is great and close to wheee I needed to be, not an overpriced fancy hotel, good honest friendly hotel with loads of parking which was great as I had a trailer.

We stayed here for two nights. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. There are no kitchen facilities as the resort has a restaurant on site. The bathroom doesn’t have an extractor fan, which can make showering at night a bit less convenient, and the window can’t be left open with the light on due to trout flies. When this happened to us, reception were friendly and helpful, and the cleaners did a great job cleaning the bugs up.
The resort and rooms are starting to look a little tired and could do with an update. This was our second stay over the past five years and not a lot has changed, however the air conditioning in the room was great to have. The buffet breakfast was great and we couldn’t fault the service from the staff. They were efficient, friendly, and welcoming. The spa pool and swimming pool were also a nice bonus.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a place to stay.

Our room was all we required. Clean but no frills. Would have been nice to have had a microwave.
